The city council in Edinburgh could be targetting YOUR community centre! They have voted in favour of plans to:

slash £833,000 from community centres

sack over 16 community workers including 11 front-line staff

turn some centres into “village halls” with no staff or janitors
They refuse to tell us which centres will be axed or downgraded. We intend to stop them! Hundreds of local groups and tens of thousands of residents depend on their community centres.
The final decision was made on 21 February. We need to make sure that the city council hear our voice load and clear: HANDS OFF OUR COMMUNITY CENTRES. Show your support and take action today - contact your Lib Dem or SNP councillors today!
